Rosacea is first recognizable as a persistent redness of the face. Acne, common in adolescents, is characterized by multiple blemishes on the face, chest or back. Seborrheic dermatitis causes redness and flaking in areas with many sebaceous glands, such as the eyebrows, scalp, chest and armpits. Learn more about these conditions. If you think you may have one of these skin conditions, consult your doctor or a dermatologist, a doctor who specializes in skin conditions. If you don't have a dermatologist, you can find one near you by using the DermFinder. Although rare, local irritation has been reported with topical sodium sulfacetamide and sulfur therapy. Rosanil® Cleanser is contraindicated for use by patients with hypersensitivity to sulfur and sulfonamides and patients with kidney disease. Avoid contact with eyes.
