Ideal Regimen
It is recommended that Rosanil® (sodium sulfacetamide 10% and sulfur 5%) Cleanser is used once or twice daily during the initial treatment phase of rosacea. Rosanil® Cleanser should be applied to wet skin and massaged gently for 10-20 seconds. It easily turns into a lather that can be rinsed off with warm water.

For Rosacea
When rosacea is first diagnosed, the recommended regimen includes an oral antibiotic, as well as a topical anti-inflammatory/anti-bacterial medication such as MetroGel® (metronidazole topical gel) Topical Gel 0.75% that can help bring the rosacea into remission.

For the initial treatment of rosacea, Rosanil® Cleanser provides added benefit in getting rosacea under control. For maintenance, you can use a facial cleanser such as Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser. And remember to continue to use MetroGel® to help keep rosacea in check.
